Art for Breast Cancer Awareness Events

An interactive block printing activity was designed to engage participants

A quick oral briefing on cancer awareness was followed by a hands on art activity, requiring no prior skill or knowledge of art.

Each participant then made their own block print and took home the multi-lingual breast cancer awareness brochures tucked inside their personalized art tote.

A big thank you to St John’s Hospital
We were honoured by the presence of the Associate Director of St. John’s Hospital, Rev. Father Pradeep Kumar Samad, who was gracious enough to come by to participate in the event and encourage me. We are deeply indebted to Dr. Rakesh S. Ramesh for his meticulous planning and continual support throughout the program. We were also fortunate that several leading doctors at the institute enthusiastically supported the activity. Additionally, we are thankful for the support of Ms. Mallika Devi and Ms. Lavanya from the Cancer Registry, who helped with the distribution of the brochures and leaflets.
